Cantilever rack is a modular, free-standing storage unit with horizontal load-carrying arms extending outward from a single, vertical column. The lack of exterior support columns on the outside edges permits uninterrupted storage of long lengths of materials such as steel bars, pipe, tubing, lumber, and other long heavy items such as furniture that must be kept off the floor. Forklifts can easily load or offload one piece or a full load from arms or bases. Because it is modular, additional arms, uprights, and braces may be added as storage requirements change.
